Happy Holidays TBSH friends! Just wanted to check in and say hello with a short post. I know we’ve been like crickets here at To Be Simply Happy. Tis the season of busyness! I feel like the girl in the picture holding all those gifts!
Every year before Thanksgiving and Christmas I tell myself that I will be somewhat organized, relaxed, use my time wisely, and enjoy the holidays. But somehow the time just always flies by too fast and I start feeling overwhelmed!! I had to go back and read my post from early November titled “Is It The Most Wonderful Time of the Year or is The Crazy Train About to Arrive? My lovely friend Jessica Modad gives some great tips on having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday season. It’s a must read! There is still time! š
Honestly, I think the powers that be need to move Thanksgiving up a week! That way we could have 1 extra week between the two holidays. Don’t you?
So far I have managed to get my Christmas cards out (at least most of them), decorate the house, get some of the gift shopping done, and make sure our elves Salty and Sugar are on the move š
I still need to bake cookies with the kids, do some “crafty” things with the kids, do something charitable with the kids, watch a few holiday movies (Elf is one of my favorites!), and a few more things I can’t think of right now. My brain is full! But, I know there is more!
What are some things you like to do during the holiday season? What are a few of your must watch holiday movies? We’d love to hear in the comments section below!
And, check back in soon. Bridgette and I will have some more posts coming your way before December is over. In the meantime, make sure and breathe and have a joyful holiday season!
Hugs, Angela…
