It’s Time To Turn Back Time with An Oxygen Infusion Facial!

Hi lovely ladies! Angela here. Now that the kids are back in school I have more time to do “me things”. And one of the “me things” I love to do the most is going to the spa!

There is a fabulous spa here in Houston called Sanctuary Spa. It’s in the River Oaks/West gray area. They first opened their doors in 1984! I have been a client of theirs for over 10 years now.

They offer the most amazing services for mind, body, and soul in a tranquil and intimate environment by a team of caring, experienced women!

Some of their services include, body wraps, vichy showers, Himalayan salt scrubs, massage, shakra balancing,  meditation nights, and much more. Sanctuary Spa offers you relaxation, refocusing, and self-awareness in a busy, face-paced world. You can definitely find your happy place here đŸ™‚ A place of sanctuary!

For the purpose of this post I would like to share my experience with their Oxygen Infusion Facial.

Over the coming months I will be posting about some of the other services they offer! So, check back often! And, look for a special offer for TBSH readers at the bottom of this post!

Have you heard of the Oxygen Infusion Facial? They first were introduced in 2002 in Australia by a company called Intraceuticals.

Sanctuary Spa says, “Different from any oxygen facial, the Oxygen Infusion facial infuses powerful vitamins, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acids into your skin. This targeted treatment instantly smooths the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles. Firms, lifts and plumps the appearance of wrinkles caused by facial muscle contractions around the forehead, eyes, nasal folds, and lip areas. Your skin will look and feel years younger, visibly lifted, toned, and hydrated.”

Per Spa Finder, “Oxygen facials are said to combat visible signs of aging linked to poor conveyance of oxygen from subcutaneous capillaries to the surface of the skin. They address the deficiency by delivering highly concentrated oxygen molecules directly to the epidermis. A stream of high-pressurized oxygen infused with botanical, vitamin, mineral, and nutrient extracts is applied to the face and neck. The oxygen absorbs the moisturizing agents into the skin for a smoother, plumper look, providing a healthy glow.”

Oxygen facials are becoming more en vogue in the spa industry, cropping up on many spa menus. These types of facials particularly began to gain momentum when celebrities such as Madonna & Cher touted the skincare service for its ability to create a plumper and smoother surface, hiding imperfections and resulting in a more youthful appearance. And, we all know that Cher wants to “turn back time” đŸ™‚

The oxygen facial is a popular treatment to indulge in prior to a big event or soirée, and it can be performed on all skin types.

I can personally attest to that! It is a great facial to get prior to an event you want to look your best! It really seems to “plump” your face in a good way. And, it seems to stay that way for about a week. I’ve read that if you continue to get Oxygen Infusion facials at regular intervals that you can maintain all the benefits longer!

Now, I will not lie. The Oxygen Infusion facial comes at a cost. But, Sanctuary Spa is offering a special price right now that runs until September 15, 2016. You can experience this amazing facial for $145, regularly $195! So, it’s a great time to try! After that, from September 16 to September 30, 2016 if you mention that you heard about the Oxygen Infusion facial from us here at To Be Simply Happy they will give you 10% off the facial! Annie is who does my facials there and she will take good care of you!

So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to turn back time on your face even if just for a little while…

Peace & Love, Angela

Alas … A beauty secret is out on how you keep defying age! You mention you feel the facial delivers as advertised with plumping areas of the face and delivering a more youthful looking self. How often do you go? … Or, is this something you only recommend for the occasional “life me up” moment?

Well, I don’t know how much I have “defied age” but, I do think that the oxygen facials help. Definitely just after and up to a week. In 2015 I actually splurged and had the facial about every 2 months. I could definitely tell that with that frequency the results were maintained! Just as stated though, they are great to get before an event to help plump up lines on the face đŸ™‚
