How To Celebrate Yo Yo Day With These 3 Things

For all of my fellow YoYo fans … June 9th is Happy National YoYo Day!  I have to admit, I haven’t mastered yet sick yoyo moves (or, let me be even more honest – I don’t even think I know how to yoyo … D’oh!) … but it doesn’t stop me from appreciating mad yoyo skills when I seem them!  Check out 2015’s World YoYo Champ from U.S.A., Zach Gormley:

If this has inspired you enough to dust off that yoyo sitting in your house – AWESOME!  If you don’t know where to begin now … believe it not, there is actually a TEDTalk you should watch:

Now … you don’t have to wear the ninja warrior outfit (unless it seems to improve the likelihood of your yoyo mastery – go for it!) … but, if you want to take it back to basics and give yo-yoing another shot you can (1) call up Zach Gormley and see if out of the kindness of his heart he’ll teach you when he’s not globetrotting to competitions, or (2) thank Duncan Toys for putting some awesome tutorial videos that will get you going in no time:  https://www.yo-yo.com/index.php/site/howto/yo-yo/beginner

AND … to really get those inspirational juices going for you, I wanted to leave you with a little Justin Timberlake vibe to get you up and going:

And … on that note – Carpe Diem TBSH Peeps and spread the yoyo love! — XOXO, Bridge

P.S. Let’s not forget to cheer on the World YoYo contestants August 3, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio!

Hello! I am a zestful and passionate tech-gal that is also doing my best to raise amazing children ... sips a Nespresso before tackling yoga ... enjoys more the sprint interval running kind of routine ... drools over travel ... is a new budding foodie and chef ... isn't afraid of a DIY, or getting hands dirty ... feels the thirst for learning should be a lifelong companion ... supports my hubby in his Ironman endeavors ... tries to spread as much happiness for others as possible ... OH, and never lets a day go by when I haven't smiled :)
